My name is Samuel Quincy Gaines, and I was born in Lexington, KY but grew up in Cincinnati. I addicted to TedTalks & Spotify, and I secretly love philosophy; I’m a non-practicing vegan, and a firm believer that if you don’t like animals, you are probably a bad person. I am an EMT-B in Cincinnati, to gather my patient care hours before I apply to PA school at UK or Kettering University next year. I think it’s crucial to stay up to date and involved in the things you’re passionate about — which for me is new innovative research and communication skills in medicine. I’m eager to use what I have learned in the classroom and apply it to being the best medical practitioner I can possibly be. I’ve learned about the world in the classroom, and I’m still learning about myself out in the world.
